On June 4th, Mind Forward kicked off Brain Injury Awareness Month with a vibrant Clock Tower lighting event at Celebration Square and Mississauga’s City Hall. The community gathered to light the clock tower green, symbolizing our commitment to advocating for the brain injury community and raising awareness about the challenges our clients face.
A heartfelt thank you to Darryl Clarence and the planning committee for organizing such an important event. From cookie decorating, to painting flowers, to a scavenger hunt throughout the square, the afternoon was filled with fun, connection, and education. Speeches from our leadership team highlighted the importance of Brain Injury Awareness month and the impact it has on our community.
It was especially heartwarming to see everyone dressed in green to show their support for our community. Events like this provide a platform to raise awareness, foster understanding, and build a supportive network for those affected by brain injury.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the success of the event. Your support is incredibly important as we continue to champion the cause and strive to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by brain injuries.
