Hunter Saggar – Chief Executive Officer

Hunter brings to Mind Forward a wealth of knowledge and over 35 years of experience within the Provincial Government, including influential roles across the Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Government Services, and Treasury Board. As the Chief Administrative Officer for Ontario Place Corporation from 2012 to 2021, his leadership was defined by strategic vision and impactful governance. Previously serving on Mind Forward’s Board of Directors has provided him with unique insights into the organization’s mission, equipping him to lead with empathy and innovation. His active involvement on several community Boards underscores his commitment to creating supportive environments for individuals and communities. Hunter aims to use his experience to drive the organization to achieving greater heights in brain injury awareness and support.

Stephanie D’Costa, CPA, CA

Director of Finance

Stephanie is a CPA, CA with over 15 years of experience in the not for profit and public accounting fields in Canada and Bermuda. She provides expertise in financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting. Stephanie oversees all aspect of finance at Mind Forward, from daily accounting functions to reporting.

Mike Redgers, M.S. Ed.

Director of Operations and Assisted Living

Mike is the Director of Operations and Assisted Living for Mind Forward Brain Injury Services. Mike is a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving operational excellence. Mike’s background incudes experience in the mental health sector, multiple entrepreneurial enterprises, and has held an established career in the ABI field. Mike has worked in several roles throughout the organization and draws his motivation from his personal connection to this field.

Anna Cook, MSW, RSW

Director of Quality and Clinical Services

Anna, a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, brings over 20 years of experience in the social services field. Her diverse background spans rehabilitation, mental health, and forensic settings. Committed to client-centered programs, individualized supports, and quality assurance, Anna now serves as Clinical Director where she leads clinical services, quality improvement and program development. Her career is marked by a deep passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families affected by brain injuries.

Andrea Ure

Director of Community Services and Public Relations

Andrea oversees the Supported Independent Living Program, Seniors Services, Day Services and Outreach Services, as well as social media and marketing, community partnerships, and fundraising initiatives. She has worked in the field of ABI for almost 20 years and has served in many roles across the organization. With a keen ability to bridge organizational needs with community resources, Andrea’s focus is to create symbiotic relationships that uplift quality of care and expand opportunities for those with brain injury.

Fabio Do Couto

Senior Manager, Human Resources

With over two decades ABI experience, Fabio champions an inclusive workplace and remains current with HR trends as a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association. Fabio has played a key role in accreditations, negotiating collective agreements, and the ABI Agencies HR Network. His prior roles include leadership across several organizational service streams. Fabio is also a dedicated member of the EDI committee, driving organizational inclusivity and growth. He is passionate about HR and continuing to positively impact the growth and well-being of the organization and its employees.
