Hi, I’m Brittany and I’ve been with Mind Forward Brain Injury Services for 2 years and 7 months. I have a Child and Youth Worker Degree & Diploma, as well as a Social Work Diploma. I’ve worked at various Assisted Living sites, supporting clients in our group home environments. What I like most about Mind Forward is the flexibility I’m given. I can take out clients, and engage with them in the community. This is very important for them. Mind Forward considers this important for clients and staff alike. I enjoy being able to facilitate that for them. Clients make the agency. They can be difficult at times but are generally great people. I love that they are able to be their own, unique personalities, and we accommodate around that. At other places I’ve worked, there was more restraining. Here, we try to give them space, and respect their personal boundaries. I enjoy helping people. This Agency has a lot of good values. I see myself being here for a long time. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of Mind Forward.
