It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil, Diwali spans five days of festivities. The festival typically involves the lighting of oil lamps (diyas) and colorful candles, adorning homes with vibrant decorations, exchanging gifts, and enjoying delicious sweets and feasts.
