Celebrating Tanya: Our Exceptional Team Leader

Employee spotlight - Tanya

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our remarkable team members, Tanya. Tanya has been an invaluable asset to Mind Forward for the past two years, serving as a dedicated Client Program Facilitator and, most recently, Team Leader at Conover. Her passion for helping individuals with ABI and her commitment to providing holistic care truly sets her apart.

Tanya’s role at Mind Forward is multifaceted and vital to our organization’s mission. As a Team Leader, she collaborates closely with the Conover and clinical team to address the rehabilitative, physical, social, and behavioral/emotional needs of our clients. Her approach involves data collection and open dialogue, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized support they require. Tanya’s dedication extends beyond our organization, as she also works with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care possible.

Tanya’s inspiration to work with individuals with ABI stems from her lifelong fascination with the human brain and psychology. Her educational background and previous experiences naturally led her to this fulfilling career path. Tanya finds immense fulfillment in being able to apply her skills in a holistic environment and working as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on providing the best support to our clients.

For Tanya, the most rewarding aspect of her work is witnessing her clients achieve moments of happiness and increased independence. Knowing that she plays a role in their journey towards recovery is both externally rewarding and internally motivating. Tanya’s dedication and compassion shine through in every interaction she has with our clients.

In her pursuit of professional development, Tanya has completed various courses and training programs to enhance her skills in working with individuals with ABI. From cognitive behavior therapy to neurorehabilitation training, Tanya is continuously seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and expertise. Her advice for others looking to work in this field is rooted in patience, a commitment to basics, and making use of available resources.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys activities such as swimming, hiking, and spending quality time with her loved ones. To maintain balance and well-being amidst the demands of her work, she prioritizes mindfulness, self-care, and indulging in her hobbies. Additionally, Tanya’s love for brewing her own kombucha and her adorable fur babies, Pepper and Aulli, add layers to her vibrant personality.

Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to Tanya for her dedication, compassion, and leadership at Mind Forward. Her contributions make a significant difference in the lives of our clients and within our organization.

Thank you, Tanya, for all that you do!
