March 21st is acknowledged as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The day was first observed in 1966, as a commitment from the international community to reject racism and racial discrimination, and actively promote equity and inclusiveness.
The 2024 theme of the International Day is “A Decade of Recognition, Justice, and Development: Implementation of the International Decade for People of African Descent”.
